What Can Be Learned From The Google Marketing Conference 2022

London, UK – June 20, 2022 – In May, Google launched its Digital Marketing Conference and updated marketers on various changes and updates, some being performance max campaigns, ad products and automation.

Further changes include Responsive Search Ads improvements, Multi-search (which allows users to upload photos, videos and text for search items) and Asset Library availability for all marketers, which helps advertisers align with ads and or assets outside of Google for further traffic and brand awareness.

The Performance Max campaigns upgrades are indented to optimise and enhance the efficiency of your campaigns by allowing you to implement in-store goals while providing more insights to allow for better transparency and analysis of online traffic.

Google further announced that YouTube Shorts ads are being developed to help you create the most compelling and relevant ads for your audiences. YouTube Shorts ads are currently live and allow video ads to be shown when users are browsing the ‘Discover’ section on pages, which in turn aligns with Google’s competitor, TikTok’s strategy.

Speaking of Google’s updates and how this affects the digital marketing industry, Jonathan Lemer, Co-Founder and Director at The Brains, says:

“With the upgrades to Performance Max, Responsive Search Ads and automations, Google is making it easier than ever for advertisers to craft winning campaigns that generate leads & sales. The smartest marketers will leverage these improvements to their advantage and significantly increase ROI. That’s what we at The Brains are all about.” – Jonathan Lemer, Co-founder and Director, The Brains
