Lucy Smalls, the author of “Margie Wadsworth’s Unforgettable Senior Year,” seeks to uplift black millennials to become the best by overcoming hurdles and exceeding expectations.

Margie Wadsworth’s Unforgettable Senior Year brings forth powerful writing that speaks volumes about the unique experiences black millennials will resonate with. It delves deeper into their identity, teenage-related setbacks, social engagements, and personality issues in modern-day society. A unique offering in every sense, Lucy Smalls uses her knowledge and personal experiences to pen down and give voice to a generation of millennials who are being neglected, suppressed, and clenched between what the future holds for them and what the past has already done to them.

Lucy smalls originate from St. Louis, MO; she moved around the country after her senior year to secure a B.S degree in Chemistry at Alabama University (AAMU). During her studies at AAMU, she fell for her now-husband of 10 years, Jonathan, who wrote and produced the university’s Black History theatre plays, enrolled with Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., and graduated with academic achievements.

By day Lucy Smalls works in corporate America for a Fortune 100 company. At night, she uses her brilliant imagination and colorful life experiences to craft stories. For most of her life, Lucy has been a storyteller, writing books and plays for her family. Her debut book Margie Wadsworth’s Unforgettable Senior Year, is the first of many published works Lucy will release. Originally from St. Louis, MO, she moved across the nation after her senior year to earn a B.S. in Chemistry at Alabama A&M University (AAMU). During her tenure at AAMU, she fell in love with her now-husband of 10 years, wrote, directed, and produced the university’s Black History plays, pledged Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., and graduated Cum Laude. After college Lucy began working as a scientist, merging her love for stories and science to create holistic propositions for future innovations. Lucy and her husband, Jonathan, recently moved to Seattle, WA, with their three children.
